Japanese artist makes furniture look like rough sketches

The collection is aptly called “rough sketch products” by Japanese art student Daigo Fukawa and they were inspired by, well, rough drafts and sketches.

According to design blog Spoon & Tamago, who posted the photos on 27 November, this was done as part of the student’s 2013 senior thesis exhibition at Tokyo University of the Arts.

We’re not sure how comfortable the chairs are to sit on though, but they’re definitely fascinating to look at.
